I Won’t Resume At The Secretariat, My Office, Other Administrators Will Be At The National Stadium – Sports Minister

Newly sworn-in Sports Minister, Senator John Enoh has kicked off immediately and like the popular saying in our local political parlance; hit the ground running, by taking a facility tour starting from the federal capital, Abuja.

The Minister who was in company of other administrators and the permanent secretary went round to see things for himself, the dilapidated state of the facility, especially the Athletes hostel.

He was not happy with the state of things around the beautiful Moshood Abiola stadium as a National Asset and has ordered things to be done differently. Senator Enoh in response to pressmen who were present said, he was told by the permanent secretary that he will resume duty at the National Sports Secretariat in Abuja, and from the look of things there’s no point to work from a distance as it were.

He has now ordered for his office to be relocated to the stadium and so it should be for other administrators so that all will be on ground to move the ministry forward.

Sports facilities in the country will be critically looked at and given top priority. He has promised to deliver on the mandate of Mr President which he has promised Nigerians, also stating that sports is one passionate thing Nigerians don’t joke with and as a result has gotten the interest of Nigerians more on the Ministry.

The Minister has said the next stop for him and his team is Lagos, surulere stadium as they continue the renewed hope devidend from his assigned responsibility.
