Professor Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr was born 12th of March, 1971, a Nigerian and a lover of peace. He’s a passionate believer in the possibility of a world free of war, in the evolution of a racism-free universe and in the deepening of values needful for the enthronement of love, selflessness and service among citizens of the world.
Mahatma Mohandas Gandhi, Rev. Martin Luther King Jnr, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela and late Chris Ikechukwu Nwaokobia Snr, are the persons to who Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr is viscerally related to as a mentee. Like his mentors, Chris abhors violence and works hard and relentlessly at birthing and berthing A NEW, A BETTER and A PROSPEROUS NIGERIA where justice, equity and fairness are guaranteed for all persons regardless of class, creed or clan, and indiscriminate of religious or exclusionary affiliations.
Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr has a PhD Honoris Causa in Leadership and Public Administration. And holds a Professorial Chair Honoris in Political Science. He’s a former Presidential candidate, he’s the initiator of ‘COUNTRY FIRST’ (a Nigeria Redemption Movement). He is a lawyer in politics, a prolific writer, a columnist and a patriot. He is the Chairman/CEO of Pointsman Projects Ltd. He is the Principal Counsel of the Grand House of Law. And he is the President of Herdsman Foundation, an NGO that has worked with Physically Challenged Persons, Street Kids, Orphaned Children and VVF Cases since 1998. He’s also, the convener of GOT Your Back NIGERIA (GYB).
Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr is recognized for his extraordinary oratory abilities: and uncanny grasp and analysis of contemporary political and social issues. He is an avid believer in RESTRUCTURING, WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION, EDUCATION, VOCATIONAL and ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING, INFRASTRUCTURAL and TECHNOLOGICAL GROWTH, and A NEW LEADERSHIP PARADIGM as the pathway to a prosperous Nigeria. He is the youngest Presidential Candidate in the history of Nigeria, having run for the office of President in 2011 at age 40. He has not given up on his unrepentant faith in Nigeria and in the potentials that abound in Nigeria. It is for the actualization of the great Nigeria of our dreams that he has elected to run again for the High Office of President come 2019. He is a founder/Initiator of various platforms promoting the unity and progress of Nigeria, and a visible partner in the noble national initiative, “The Nigeria Unity in Diversity Challenge”. He is a recipient of numerous Socio-Political and Humanitarian awards. A Patron of many Professional, Youth based, Gender Equality and Women based organizations. And he is very actively engaged in the Arts, Charity and Human Development initiatives. Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr is married with children.
