#OsunDecides2022: PDP Dancing Sen. Adeleke Defeats Incumbent Governor Oyetola In Osun Election
The Osun decides 2022 has come and gone, and has left history, players and political strategist happy and some sad. Finally, its the Adeleke’s turn for service and to provide the robust leadership they have always yearned for over the years to provide for the people of Osun state.
In a vote of thanks the Governor elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke dedicated the victory to his late brother Senator Isiaka Adeleke who he said was a great philanthropist and had done so much for the people. He further said, in emphasis, “… I will not disappoint you, I will make Osun great again.”
The PDP Osun campaign chairman, H.E Governor Douye Diri and other distinguished committee members, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo and former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki who spoke at the victory acceptance speech, took turn to thank the people of Osun.
Governor Diri said, “I’m a miracle Governor and I know that miracle will rub off on Osun, this has proven that power only comes from God. No man should play God.”
Adeleke defeated Governor Oyetola who is the incumbent, with 23,344 votes. Adeleke polled a total of 403, 371 against the incumbent who scored 375,027 votes.
