Rema Will Only Get 30% Out Of $3 Million Performance Money From Anant Ambani’s Wedding

I know many will be surprised because Rema won’t even get half of the money he made in India at the wedding performance of billionaire’s son, Anant Ambani. His record label will give him just 30% of the said amount, which is $900,000 not even up to a $1M.

According to report, Rema earned a whopping $3 million for his performance at that event. However, the singer only gets some percentage of that amount, 30% as signee under their label. The remaining 70% goes to his record label, Marvin and Jonzing World owned by the Ajere brothers, Don Jazzy and his younger brother, D’Prince.

While some might question the fairness of this arrangement, it’s important to remember that record labels invest significant amount of money developing and promoting their artists. They cover expenses for studio time, production, marketing, welfare and more.

Such investment requires a return, and the label’s share of the earnings helps to recoup those costs and generate profits.

It’s also worth noting that Rema’s career has skyrocketed since signing with Jonzing World and Marvin. The label’s support has played a crucial role in his success, and their partnership has been mutually beneficial.

While it’s understandable that some fans might feel that Rema deserves a larger share of the earnings, it’s important to consider the complexities of the music industry and the role of record labels in artist development. Ultimately, the success of both the artist and the label is intertwined. Like they will say; “agreement is agreement” based on contract it will and must be fulfilled to respect the contract signed.
