Tyson Fury Defeated Francis Ngannou By Split Decision, Many Thought He Was Robbed

It obviously one of the biggest fights of the year, history as Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou faced off in a fight with drama no one saw coming. Many sports, boxing lovers around the world unanimously believed that Ngannou was robbed.

A match that saw many dignitaries gracing the event, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and others, an historic night it was indeed in Saudi Arabia.

Many thought it would be hard to give it to Fury because Ngannou forced the contest with Fury dancing from the outside. Ngannou’s corner lift him up. He is the moral winner whatever happens with the judges when the match remained just one or two rounds.

It even attracted boos from the arena. Ngannou won on one card 95-94, with Fury winning by a wide-looking 96-93 and 95-94 on the other cards.

Fury took the day by split decision from judges and it didn’t go down well with many, the judges decision. Fury even admitted to the dynamic twist of the night;

“He was very awkward, a very hard fight,”

“I got the win and that’s how it is.

“He’s given me one of my toughest fights in the last ten years
On the knockdown:

“It’s part of boxing, I got caught behind the head again.

“I’ve been out of the ring a long time, 11 months and you could see with some rust.

“Francis is a good fighter and he caught me with some good shots.”
