Victor Osimhen Broke George Weah’s Seria A Record As Top Scoring African Player
Nigerian goal machine and man of the moment, Victor Osimhen of Napoli has broken the Seria A record previously held by George Opong Weah. Osimhen who just led Napoli to clinching the scudetto after 33 years of trophy drought is now a force to reckon with in the world.
The 24-year-old sharpshooter scored 23 goals in the 2022/23 Seria A season. Osimhen was full of excitement as he shared this on his social media page, eulogizing the legend and thanking him for paving the way for young Africans to even do better.
