I Fought The Wrong People Not Knowing My Wife Was Behind The Assassination Attempts – Emeka Ike
Popular Nollywood legend, business man and super star actor, Emeka Ike has narrated what he went through maritally which caused him depression and almost his career.
The actor in an interview with ‘Rubbin Minds’ on Channels TV formerly anchored by Ebuka Uchendu of Big Brother, gave vent to those things he couldn’t say before because the story was painted differently which only time could reveal.
Speaking about issues, the actors narrated how he was embattled to the extent of facing hired assassins which he at that time felt was from some colleagues because as an activist he was correcting some societal ills lending his voice. But unknown to him that the main culprit was the woman he trusted and called his own, his dear wife.
“… My secondary school St. Nicolas College on CMD Road, Magodo was shut down, over 480million naira investment that year, over 480million naira investment was shut down.
All I hear was battering.. I was always saying, look I don’t beat this lady what’s going on? I went on air, I was like come on I dont.. I never did. Babe, what’s going on? They say I beat you, do I?
Wife: No, but you know you are a star, you know they can always manipulate things and all that..”
The actor recalled a painful past that he doesn’t wish for any young man coming up who wants to get into marriage. He was on his way to America when his wife called for an assembly at the school premises asked every student to go home that the school was shut down..
