UN Appoints Former President Goodluck Jonathan As Global Crisis Envoy

The United Nations has appointed Former President of Nigeria Dr GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN GCFR the U.N. Global Crises Envoy. This role similar to that of Tony Blair who on leaving office as United Kingdom Prime Minister was appointed the Middle East envoy for the United Nations, European Union,United States and Russia.

Goodluck Jonathan would be the first African past Head of State to be assigned this high profiled international tasking responsibility.

The former President has shown so much statesmanship in the last 6years from Nigeria, Africa and beyond in dealing with world issues, especially crisis.
