Senegalese and Al Nassr Striker, Sadio Mane Marries His Fiancee Few Days to AFCON
Sadio Mane’s wedding is believed to have taken place January 7 in Keur Massar, an area in the capital city of Dakar, few days after he launched the stadium he single handedly built in Bambali, his home town.
It’s few day before the start of the Africa Cup of Nations on January 13, and Sadio thought it wise to make his love life better and complete by marrying his fiancee, Aisha.
The event was said to be attended by family, friends and fellow footballers.
Reports claim Aisha ‘was long intended for the 31-year-old footballer since her teenage years’ though it is not known exactly how long they have been dating. The legal age of consent in Senegal is 16 years of age.
It was also reported that the former Liverpool star had taken care of her bills when she was in school. The Al nassr striker 18-year-old Aisha in secret ceremony in his native Senegal after first meeting the architect’s daughter ‘when she was 16’ and talking of his desire to marry a woman who ‘prays well’ and shuns social media.
The couple share the same religion, Islam, and are both said to be private people. Some of the official wedding photos were shared on Sadio Mane’s page on X with the caption, ‘thanks to God’ written in Arabic.
