Former President GEJ Escapes Death As Two Police Officers Attached To Him Died In A Ghastly Accident
Former Nigeria’s President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan expressed sadness over the death of two police officers attached to him. They were involved in an accident at the nation’s capital, Abuja. The deadly accident happened on Wednesday evening along airport road in Abuja.
The two police officers who died are; Inspectors Ibrahim Abazi and Yakubu Toma.
“They are competent officers who were dedicated to their duties and service to the nation,” GEJ said.
Pictures emerges from the scene shows how badly the accident was.. The SUV involving the dead officers was in a complete wreck.
According to report, the accident occur when the Ecowas Special Envoy was coming from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to his house in the capital, Abuja.
Former President GEJ was inside another vehicle and confirming to the media, his spokesman Mr Ikechukwu Eze said “the president is safe and sound.”
