History: Wizkid’s Album Becomes First To Be Certified Gold By RIAA In Africa

Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album has been certified GOLD in the US by the RIAA as the only African artist to receive this honour yet.

The album which was released on the 29th of October, 2020 was certified by RIAA on the 25th of August, 2022 after it has sold over 500,000 units in the United States of America.

Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that advocates and represent the artists and music recording industry in the United States.
