Tems, Davido, Burna Boy and Asake Tops Former US President, Barack Obama’s 2023 Playlist

Former US President, Barack Obama in his usual yearly release of playlist has in 2023 listed Nigeria’s top Afrobeats artists among other artists.
Davido, Burna Boy, Tems and Asake made the 2023 list which makes Afrobeats the most listened genre of President Obama in 2023.

That’s a major progress one would say because Nigeria’s Afrobeats is currently rocking the world in leaps and bounds especially the United States of America.

Most artists are always looking forward to this playlist release, especially those from Africa. Rema made the list at some point, Burna Boy is like a regular customer while I think this should be Davido’s first, his popular anthem “Unavailable” got him on the list.

The former President is always excited sharing his playlist with the world, and would even suggest a recommendation if there’s anyone people think he should listen to; “Here are some of my favorite songs from this year. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out.”
