Globe Soccer Are Set To Award The Best Men’s Player Of The Year
Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most decorated players in football history, is a finalist in the BEST MEN’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR category at Globe Soccer Awards 2021.
And what a record-breaking year he has had. In February 2021, the 36-year-old became the first person on the planet to reach 500million followers across his social media platforms, making him the biggest superstar on and off the pitch.
The Portuguese legend counts 34 major trophies to his name and is the only player to win all domestic titles in England, Spain and Italy. He is the fastest Juventus player to score 100 goals, as well as the first player to score at least 20 goals in each of the last 12 seasons in the top-five European Leagues.
Ronaldo broke the world record for most international goals in men’s football this year, whilst also becoming the first player to score in five different Euros (also holding the record for most goals scored at the Euros).
With his monumental return to Manchester United, Ronaldo’s Champions League campaign saw him break the record for most appearances in tournament history, whilst also being Champions League top goalscorer of all time.
We, here at Globe Soccer Awards, are thrilled to welcome Ronaldo in Dubai once again and to celebrate his phenomenal year together.
The winners will be announced during the LIVE broadcast of Globe Soccer Awards 2021 on Dec 27, in Dubai.
