Ramadan: Deep Piety A Prerequisite In Search Of Divine Destiny These Last 10 Days – Dr Tahir Alkenanah
Allah SWT says in the Qur’an, “The Night of decree is better than a thousand months”, (Qur’an 97:3).
Laylatul Qadr, the Night of power, decree is one of the most sacred nights in the existence of Muslim Umma. It is so special because it is the night in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed to our dear Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The Prophet admonished the Muslim Umma to pray on this night, Laylatul Qadr with faith and sincerity and they shall have their sins forgiven.
I call it an open ticket night.. As Allah SWT on that night shows his mercy towards us, we will use it for the good of mankind.
The whole essence of living is to do good to Allah’s servants and uphold his values and tenets in any position you find yourself. Like I have communicated previously, there must be sincerity of purpose. Sincerity of purpose to define our set goals in that which we seek and to bring about the desired change.
Politically there’s a nexus of knowledge from governance to the divine which is vital in fulfilling promises. It means a leader has an understanding of what the creator demands of him as a servant, and to fellow servants.
Nothing happens unless Allah permits it. He permits such a time as this in my political life to be under the watch of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, the Khadimul Islam, the Executive Governor of kano who has given me this platform to do what I’m doing and even more. May Allah SWT in his infinite mercy grant him his request these remaining special days of Ramadan!
We are focused in our quest to be better and to be counted. We will continue in this trajectory Insha Allah!!
