“O Allah, remove our sins from us as thou has removed the East from the West. O Allah purify us from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. O Allah, wash away our sins with water, snow and ice.”

A heart felt and sincere prayers is what is required from fellow citizens and all Muslim faithfuls in this holy month of Ramadan. Its an opportunity to make supplications to the almighty, the creator of mankind Allahu SWA for his mercy that has kept us thus far..

As we join our dear leader and father of the nation, President Muhammadu Buhari in offering prayers to Allah, we ask for cleansing in
our dear country, Nigeria. O Allah, we ask for peace in our country. We ask for stability and more prosperity in our country because of your beloved prophet Muhammed SAW!

Physical combat is not enough, technical know-how is not enough but Allah’s wisdom is the best strength in the affairs of mankind. It is what we seek this period of Ramadan.

And one person who has kept that fire burning even before now is H.E. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, Khadimul Islam, the Executive Governor of kano. He never takes for granted offering of Duā for the state and country at large, for the peace and people therein.

We shall overcome this Insha Allah!
