Trevor George Smith Jr, musically known as Busta Rhymes is a Jamaican-American rapper, songwriter, record producer and actor.

It has pleased the American Foundation for the University of the West Indies (AFUWI) to honor him at the 26th AFUWI Annual Award Gala in New York.
Busta Rhymes will be among the likes of Usain Bolt, Whoopi Goldberg, Kareem Abdul- Jabbar and many more who were past recipients of such honor. The event is scheduled for Thursday April 20, 2023.
