Music Executive, Kenny ‘Keke’ Ogungbe Proudly Shows Off Completion Of NYSC Service
Popular Record Label owner, music producer, OAP and owner of Kennis FM, Kenny Ogungbe also known as ‘Baba Keke’ has completed his National Youth Service Corp service to the nation.
Baba Keke was one of the major pioneers of the revolution in our music industry, one could practically say himself and his partner, Dayo Adeneye (D1) made the hip hop industry what we now know and call ‘Afrobeats’.
Kennis Music changed the face of music in Nigeria, brought a lot dynamism to our music life by introducing what we all can boldly call the first Nigerian successful hip hop group, Remedies with the likes of Eedris Abdulkareem, Eddy Monta and Tony Tetuila.
He had previously helped his late in-law, High Chief Raymond Alegho Dokpesi set up the first 24hours radio station in Nigeria and subsequently followed by Africa Independent Television (AIT).
The man who has many sides in entertainment and journalism just completed service to his fatherland. In a post shared on his Instagram page, he shared in excitement photographs of himself and fellow corp member who recently finished their nine months of national service.
The way certificate issue is going in the Nigeria of today, one has to be armed to the latter.
