Former Presidential aid and ardent critic of the Buhari administration, Reno Omokri has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the Eight Thousand Naira (8,000) monthly as palliatives for twelve million households to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal.
Adding that this will give a human face to the pains Nigerians are going through at the moment because of the harsh economic situation.
Reno even went further to suggest that President Tinubu should tie it to compulsory school attendance to help reduce the numbers of out-of-school children who are roaming the streets. His submission suggests that, to do this means that the school principals, head masters must sign the voucher in order to verify the attendance of pupils before they can receive the Eight Thousand Naira monthly payment.
He tweeted this on his verified Twitter handle shortly after the statement was released..
