The Vision, The Mandate And The Expectations By Kano State In Advert Revenue Generation
It has began already.. the pursuit to an expected end, that is the optimal maximization of gains in the target set to raise the standard of revenue collection in the state advertising agency.
His Excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje the executive Governor of kano state in his wisdom and foresight has chosen the right man in the person of Abdallah Tahir Alkenanah DG Urban Beautification and Landscaping Agency to lead this crusade in making sure the state duly get the remuneration it deserves in advertising.
As a father yearns for the prosperity of his household, so is the desire of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to bring even more prosperity to kano state government, it people and the generality of it citizenry.
And a buttress to this, is the just concluded stake holders meeting in the world of advertising DG Alkenanah convened. All those who are suppose to be in attendance were there.
The meeting was attended by; Chief Dr Francis, CEO nationwide advertisement, he’s also the north west chairman Outdoor Advertisements Association of Nigeria (OAAN). The Advertisement Practitioner Council of Nigeria (APCON) had it chief zonal officer in attendance too including heads of companies (sole owners). Others were there who are members too, representing their companies in different capacities and were almost 30 in number.
The discussion was a robust one touching every aspect that needs to be talked about concerning advertisement and the stance of the state government. And almost every aspect they talked about was agreed upon by all who were present at the meeting.
This is a great feat in the task the DG is saddled with and it will surely be a win-win for both side since the meeting was in consonant. Henceforth we will begin to see the effect and result of that meeting in no distant future.. It can’t be achieved without the help of his excellency Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje the executive Governor of kano, his fatherly role and the believe he has for the youth is second to none.
