NFF Election: Abba Mouktar, Young, Dynamic and Most Resourceful Should-be NFF President

Listening to one of the major contenders vying for the office of the president of Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) in the coming election scheduled to hold this September, Seyi Akinwunmi talked about grassroot and what he will do, we can’t but come in at this point to help shape some narrative.

More than anyone else, Mohammed Abba Mouktar has done more at the grassroot level and still doing not ‘I will do’ which is futuristic instead of what has been done as record. With all due respect to everyone contesting, this is not to demean what they have done or who they are.

As an individual and on a personal capacity, Mouktar has single handedly sponsored coaches, managers and players for almost two decades now. As a matter of fact he develops young talents from age 13 and the platforms are still there running as we speak, not ‘I will do’.

Could it be because he’s young and dynamic? Mouktar is a 21st century football administrator who keeps developing himself at every given opportunity. He has not taken from the Nigerian space like he has given unlike many who have benefited from it all their lives.

We shall bring 10 vital points and reasons in our subsequent publication on why he is the right man for the job.
